Siwin Foods is currently seeking a reliable, hard-working permanent full-time Maintenance Laborer to join our team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment (example, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics)
  • Experience in food manufacturing maintenance would be considered an asset
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Troubleshooting skills in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, in all aspects of mechanical equipment, and make appropriate repairs
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Welding and fabrication skills (preferred)
  • Knowledge of GMP is preferred
  • Must speak, write, and understand English
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Industrial Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Wage to be determined)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in production equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain accurate maintenance records to support operational continuity
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they impact production
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to food safety and quality standards
  • Support equipment installations and upgrades, working collaboratively with production teams
  • Perform stainless steel welding as required for repairs and modifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to workplace safety protocols
  • Execute additional maintenance tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Work Hours: 7:00 am-3:30 pm (AM Shift)

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour- Depending on experience
