Longanisa Breakfast Plate
This is one way to make a good breakfast. It is easily doubled or tripled to make more. You can choose your favourite longanisa, hot or sweet, they are both really tasty for breakfast!
Ingredients
| 2 tsp | Cooking Oil |
| 3 or 4 | Longanisa Sausage |
| 1 tbsp | Canola Oil |
| 1 | Egg, beaten |
| 3 | Garlic Cloves, minced |
| 1 cup | Rice, cooked |
| 1/2 tsp | Salt |
| 1/4 cup | Green Onion, sliced |
| 2 | Egg, soft boiled Cut in half |
| 1/2 cup | Tomato, cut into wedges |
Instructions
- Heat the grill to medium and brush with oil. Cook sausages according to package directions. Set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the oil on medium low. Add the beaten egg and scramble fry until it is almost set. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about another minute.
- Add the rice and salt and stir. Increase the heat to medium and continue to stir the rice mixture until it begins to get crispy. About 5-6 minutes
- Stir in the green onion and remove from the heat. Add the crispy garlic rice to the plate and top with the longanisa, tomatoes, and the soft boiled eggs.
