Longanisa Breakfast Plate
This is one way to make a good breakfast. It is easily doubled or tripled to make more. You can choose your favourite longanisa, hot or sweet, they are both really tasty for breakfast!
|2 tsp||Cooking Oil|
|3 or 4||Longanisa Sausage|
|1 tbsp||Canola Oil|
|3||Garlic Cloves, minced|
|1 cup||Rice, cooked|
|1/4 cup||Green Onion, sliced|
|2||Egg, soft boiled Cut in half|
|1/2 cup||Tomato, cut into wedges|
- Heat the grill to medium and brush with oil. Cook sausages according to package directions. Set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the oil on medium low. Add the beaten egg and scramble fry until it is almost set. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about another minute.
- Add the rice and salt and stir. Increase the heat to medium and continue to stir the rice mixture until it begins to get crispy. About 5-6 minutes
- Stir in the green onion and remove from the heat. Add the crispy garlic rice to the plate and top with the longanisa, tomatoes, and the soft boiled eggs.
